Community Fruit & Veg Project Manager – permanent, full time position.
Salary £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience
We are seeking a dynamic individual with entrepreneurial skills to lead a Hastings-based social enterprise which delivers affordable, locally grown fruit and vegetables to the community. CFVP provides bags and boxes, manages farmer’s markets and stalls, encourages local growers, holds cooking sessions and works extensively with local government, the NHS and community organisations in fostering healthy eating through consumption of more fruit and vegetables.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for developing and leading the team of staff and volunteers, managing the day-to-day activities, developing new business and new sources of funding, managing existing funders and bringing the message of healthy eating to the communities served by CFVP. You will be an experienced individual with excellent organisational, communication, financial and project management skills. You will be knowledgeable about Hastings and surrounding East Sussex areas.
