Hastings Voluntary Action, in partnership with the CVSs in East Sussex, is administering East Sussex County Council's Seedcorn Fund.
Small voluntary and community organisations in East Sussex can apply for seedcorn funding for new initiatives that meet East Sussex County Council's strategic priorities.
The initiatives must be one of the following:
- pilot innovative approaches to service delivery
- pilot the delivery of a local service to a wider geographical area
- develop new approaches to user involvement in service delivery
In addition all applications must be delivering services in at least one of the following areas:
Adult Social Care
Children
Young People
Mental Health
Disabilities
Community Transportation
Volunteering Support
Substance misuse
The scheme runs for 3 years (2009-12) and there will be two rounds each year. The next deadline for bids is midday on Wednesday 26th May 2010.
