Local Strategic Partnership

The Local Strategic Partnership is a partnership of public agencies, business, voluntary and community sectors working together for local people. The Voluntary and Community Sector has ten seats on the LSP including the four Local Neighbourhood Forums who each have an automatic seat. The other VCS places are filled by elected HCN representatives whose role is to speak on behalf of VCS groups at strategic partnerships, informed by quarterly HCN Board Member Meetings /Events.

The Local Strategic Partnership also meets quarterly, circulating their agenda in advance of the meetings. HCN events always precede the Local Strategic Partnership Meetings, so that members can discuss the agenda and raise any issues which are of concern to VCS groups and which they want their Executive Committee representatives to raise on their behalf.

"How HCN represents issues at the LSP" attached below - gives a helpful illustrated guide to how this works.

The next LSP meeting takes place on Monday July 9th. More information about LSP, including the minutes of meetings can be found on the Hastings Borough Council website. (Click here for link)
