Making TIES

This section of the TIES project has two strands. One is internal and will examine the ways 3VA, HVA, RVA and AirS can deliver their services in partnership, so that VCS groups get the most from our collective expertise, wherever they sit geographically. We will also be looking at how the four key partners can improve collaboration with other infrastructure agencies so a more comprehensive range of support is offered.
In the second strand, we want to learn how groups get value from the events, meetings and networking opportunities we provide. We are interested in the actions different groups take forward as a result of their participation in our activities. Our aim is to maximise the value of our representation and networking work by understanding how community expertise develops. As we identify and quantify the sorts of informal learning and support that goes on between groups, the resulting data will help demonstrate how social capital works within the VCS in East Sussex.
